Missional Beauty
God's mission from before the world began is simply this: to reveal himself. All of creation serves that ultimate aim. As the ancient psalmist writes, 'The heavens declare the glory of God.' Indeed, we see something of who God is as we observe what he has made. Like fine art collectors, we gaze into this painting of the universe in hopes of connecting with its painter. God is the original artist, and the beauty of his handiwork should capture our affection and point us to him.
