The Painted Door

On the last Sunday in August, everyone at The Painted Door is invited to walk across the street for a post-service house party at Pastor Mark’s place. We’ll grill on the rooftop deck and celebrate the close of summer as we get ready for fall.

We’ll be grilling up something we call Burgers Without Borders, that is, burgers with Turkish, Lebanese and Syrian flare served on warm pita with hummus and cilantro mint chutney. All of that wonderfulness will be provided along with a cucumber mint salad.

RSVP below and sign up to bring sides, drinks or desserts. Think Mediterranean/Middle Eastern for the sides and desserts, if you can. If you’re bringing something that requires refrigeration, that’s no problem; we can walk it over and put it in the fridge before service.

The Painted Door and the Fulton River District are teaming up again for another movie in the park. And this time, it’s family-friendly fare — Monsters vs. Aliens.

Bring the little ones out to Fulton River Park and join us for a great night of free popcorn and movie against the backdrop of the downtown skyline. Show starts at dusk.
